Winged Wonders: Monarch Butterflies’ Migration Adventures -- Coming Soon!
Apples for Henry
The Walking Stick
Monarch butterflies migrate to warmer climates in the winter, but they don’t go back and forth like birds. This story looks at the multi-generational trip and the adventures the beautiful and elegant butterflies have on the long trip to Mexico and back. It also introduces the butterflies’ habitat and the metamorphic process of going from egg to caterpillar to butterfly. Find out how Monarch butterflies have their own special poisonous defense.
